 CONTENTS Unfortunately, in your case, you cannot apply for a H-1B transfer visa, because you have already went back to Taiwan (fyi, an H-1B transfer visa is only valid when you are currently working in a company in the U.S. and you wish to transfer to a similar position at a different company). In your case, you were right, you must start from the beginning.
