TITLE career question

NAME virulz80 DATE 7/13/2005 7:14:05 AM

CONTENTS I graduated with a b.s in finance, and worked at an fcm firm for about 7 months, currently Im looking for an associate position in accounting/analyst. Im finding it a bit difficult since my major was a bit broad, and my experience was as a sales trader for foreign currency, and Im not able to work for any other fcm for about another year. What can I do to get into the analyst position? would pursuing cfa level 1 for now help? or is graduate school a better approach? Ive heard from several friends that graduate school only matters if you attend the top program and that the cfa is worth more.
Sincerely,
Concerned.
