Position Profile: The role of the Sr. manager of Business Development is to identify, analyze and deliver hotel management contracts for quality assets. Our client is will be developing and growing their hotel property management business by offering their management services for hotel owners and investors. Additionally, they have a solid plan for growth which will happen through acquisition, development, and merchant build programs. These opportunities will be developed from multiple sources, including but not limited to institutional investors, banks and equity partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The right candidate will have solid relationships within the real estate and financial communities. These relationships will be built upon and developed, in order to find opportunities.
Must have a solid understanding of hotel industry, markets and economics. This person will be responsible for growing and developing all third party management business for the hotel division.
Identify opportunities for the company to offer professional hotel management to owners of hotel assets. Will work with acquisition team regarding as the client will be seeking acquisition opportunities typically found in managed hotels.
Experience and/or relationships with the major brands. Will work with development team regarding potential opportunities for development in prime locations
